Frank Ocean isn’t being heroic or anything. As a strictly tactical decision, do you know how much publicity and buzz this will generate for him? This is literally some groundbreaking shit, no one has done this in the hip hop game ever. He know’s exactly what he’s doing, this is finna catapult his success to an immeasurable height.
I did peep how all of this is surrounding the release of his new album.
Lil B tried this already and failed for the most part. He straight came out with an album titled “I’m Gay”. He’s been calling himself a “Pretty Bitch” for 3 years now and nobody gives a fuck. Frank is more talented and visible so his cry for attention/publicity stunt/act of bravery or whatever you want to call it won’t fall on deaf ears.
